Compression pants are a must for all sustained sporting activities and exercise.  They stop build up of lactic acid and leg muscle burn during exercise.  They also speed up recovery after exercise.  We also have great stocks of these in store.      See below

We are situated on the carpark within easy walking distance of Lodges, Ski School and all facilities. The slopes and lifts are right outside our front door. We have free overnight ski and board minding for those who are staying off mountain, saving the additional cost of hiring roof racks.

ON SNOW rental allows you to change whatever you wish when you wish. Our ON SNOW Snowboard Centre is able to cater for large numbers of boarders. Wrist guards are supplied free of charge with each snowboard.

ORTHOTIC FOOTBEDS INSOLES

Facts without the techno speak so everybody who is not an orthopedic surgeon can understand.

Firstly, not everybody needs footbeds. If you have properly formed inner soles with heel and arch support in your boots or shoes you probably will not need footbed support. If you do have trouble with footwear and suffer from sore aching feet, over the counter Orthotic Footbeds could be your answer.

An Orthotic Footbed is an inexpensive moulded structure that is shaped to accommodate and support your foot when inserted in your boots or shoes. Once you have experienced the footbeds incredible support and comfort you will want to wear them in your every day shoes as well.

When skiing or snowboarding the modern technology of these support products will align your feet maintaining neutral alignment of feet, ankles and lower legs. This increases edge pressure providing better control, balance and comfort. Fit and warmth are dramatically improved. Problem feet without footbeds put legs and feet under stress causing excess motion inside the boot from turn to turn. This excess motion reduces edge control and can create toe crush. With this comes ankle pain. Usually to compensate, boots are over tightened which causes decreased blood circulation and cold feet.

SOME FACTS ABOUT OUR ORTHOTIC FOOTBED SUPPORTS :

Our Orthotic footbeds have an extra deep heel cup underneath with a patented cushion bubble on top. The extra deep heel cup focuses support directly under the ankle where it is needed most. The patented tear drop heel bubble absorbs shock.

When your heel and body weight is applied downwards this pushes the top cushion bubble into the heel cup causing the high heel sides of the footbed to narrow and close in, completely encasing and holding your heel for centre alignment, stability and comfort.

The under heel pocket continues down the centre of the footbed. This is called the adaptive groove and aligns with the foot’s centre axis, creating a unique 3-dimensional supportive motion. This has the effect of raising and cupping the centre of your under foot preventing the foot from spreading. Ideal for people in trouble with their boots being too narrow.

The high sided arch support is a huge bonus for anybody with arch problems

The red and green forefoot inserts ads activity-specific stability and cushioning under the ball of the foot and toes.
Between these and the blue top deck is added PE foam and natural cork-foam blends creating a self moulding cradle for maximum comfort and stability.
Constructed from time tested, high performance materials top covers take the brunt of wear and tear. They are the interface between foot and boot and insulate the foot from heat and cold.
Our top covers use only the most durable, hypo-allergenic, moisture wicking fabrics, keeping feet dry and comfortable and do not absorb odours.

The full length tear drop shape provides long lasting support while self moulding to both feet and shoe contours.

Fitting is easy. Remove the standard insole from your footwear. Select the correct size and insert in your boot or shoe.
Correct fitting may necessitate a small amount of trimming with scissors.
The fit should have at least 1 mm of leeway in the toe area. It should not be jammed against the sides of the shoes. We can do this for you quickly at Snowline Ski Centre Smiggin Holes.
